MY STORY

 

My name is Mark McManus. I’m a 39 year old guy from Ireland. I am an entrepreneur, a personal trainer, author, and CEO of my fitness company. So why did I create this site?

Well, believe it or not…this all started for me when I (inadvertently) stole a book from a library in Illinois the USA. I lived in the US for a year when I was a 19yr old kid.

I was poor. Really poor. I lived alone in a 1 bedroom apartment that didn’t even have a TV. So I visited the library often in my spare time. I would borrow books and send emails back home as I couldn’t afford a phone to send text messages.

I STOLE A BOOK AND…

 

One day I borrowed a book that ended up having such a profound effect on my thinking that I neglected to return it. It’s a long story, but it was in my bag when I arrived home in Ireland 😳.

That book was actually, ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People‘ by Stephen Covey. And although I didn’t put into practice the things I learned straight away, it planted a seed in my mind. Then in my mid-twenties I really began to make some positive changes in my life.

If I could distil the essence of what I had learned at that point into one sentence, it would be this…

 

We become what we think about.

 

Simple. But profound in terms of its ramifications.

Who I was, and what I was capable of doing, was simply a result of everything I was putting into my mind.

 

GARBAGE IN = GARBAGE OUT

 

But I then knew with equal certainty that if I began to plant the good, the positive, and the powerful, I could radically change my life. There was no-one stopping me but me. And I discovered more…

 

Laws of Life

 

What if there were Laws or Principles of life, just as scientific as our physical laws like gravity?

These laws lead to happiness, success, peace of mind, every time for every person (sowing and reaping). Better yet, what if you could find out what these laws were and apply them to your life?

One of my favourite authors of all time James Allen said…

 

Every natural law has its spiritual counterpart…the seen is the mirror of the unseen.

 

If there are Laws of Life, you should find out what they are and harmonize your nature with them; that’s when life becomes really good…and I do mean really good.

What has understanding these Laws done for me?

I have been able to:

  • build a successful online business and work from anywhere in the world for 10 years now
  • increase my income
  • transform my body
  • transform my relationships
  • and most important of all…become happy

 

Now, what are the odds of you living in harmony with these laws if you don’t even know what they are? Slim to none.

I’ve come to believe that we must learn to live life on life’s terms if we are to be happy and successful. I believe the universe is built and sustained on laws; laws that are mathematical and certain.

LIFE MASTERY

 

The secret to a good life is to co-operate with Nature, instead of rebelling against Her. This being true, power comes from acquiescing to the Law, not fighting against It.

What I am taking about here is “Life Mastery”. Mastery over the things we can control, like our body or finances.

But of equal or greater value, mastery of our levels of peace, joy, happiness, love, and all that good stuff that we all want.

Yes, we become what we think about. What you put into your mind will determine your life.

And if you don’t program your own mind, the outside world will do it for you, and you really don’t need that negative garbage in your head.

So here’s what I believe: I believe we are all basically the same….

 

Everybody just wants to be happy. And everyone wants to avoid suffering.

 

Zig Ziglar used to say…

 

“Everybody wants to be happy, healthy, at least reasonably prosperous, secure, to have friends, peace of mind, good family relationships and hope that the future will be as good if not better”.

 

 

I think that’s 100% true. And I want to help you get these things…and keep them 🙂
